Hike for the Homeless

McDowell Mountain Regional Park, Fountain Hills.

St. Joseph the Worker’s 14th Annual HIKE FOR THE HOMELESS on Saturday, March 3, 2012.  Hike on your own or get together with your friends, family or coworkers!

Two Locations to choose from:

Estrella Mountain Regional Park, 14805 W. Vineyard Ave., Goodyear
Check in at Ramada 5 (rain or shine)
• ½ mile (fun hike; Gila Trail) - 9:00am
• 2 miles (moderate hike; Baseline Trail) - 9:00am
• 6 miles (challenging hike; our own trek spanning the Rainbow, Dysart and Toothaker Trails) - 7:30am

McDowell Mountain Regional Park, 16300 McDowell Mountain Park Dr., Fountain Hills
Check in at Trailhead Staging Area (rain or shine)
• 1½ mile (fun hike, Tortoise Trail) - 9:00am
• 4½ mile (moderate hike, Scenic Trail) - 8:00am

Each location will include:
• Breakfast burritos and t-shirts for all participants!
• Variety of trails: just for fun, moderate, or experienced
• Music, entertainment and raffle
• Water and snacks
• Client Speaker spotlighting programs and services and their personal journey to success
• Free Park Entry
